Find Your Chances of Admission to Best Engineering Colleges and Universities

Best engineering undergraduate programs are found both in schools which specialize in science and engineering and in universities where the engineering school is one of a variety of schools that specialize in other areas, such as, liberal arts and management. We have identified on this page the best engineering schools in both categories.

Each engineering school and each university has different admissions criteria, requirements and standards, so an applicant’s chance of admission can vary significantly from school to school. If you’re curious about which of the best engineering schools you’re more likely to get into, Go4Ivy can calculate your chances of admission, so you can make confident decisions about where to apply.

We report your chances of admission to each school that you select together with the chances of an average applicaticant:

Go4Ivy developed a separate algorithm for each engineering college and university, which predicts students’ chances of being accepted by that school. The algorithm evaluates the same variables that the schools admission office considers (including SAT, ACT scores, GPA, activities, your achievements, and more) and assigns to these variables relative importance (as viewed by that school) and calculates the probability of your getting into each school.

Our algorithms are continually updated and revised as the schools change their admission criteria, requirements and standards. Over the last 15 years our predictions have been over 90% correct (100% correct the last three years). Go4Ivy refunds the fee for any school for which our prediction turns out to be incorrect. We are proud to have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

You can get your chances of admission to best engineering schools and to universities with best engineering departments or colleges, which are listed below. Go4Ivy can also calculate your chances of admission at other top colleges with strong engineering programs, so if you don't see your top choices listed below, please see our alphabetical college listing.
